These are the terms that govern your use of OurCycle. They cover what the app is for, what we promise, what we don't, and how subscriptions work.

1. About these terms

By downloading, installing, or using OurCycle (the “app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

OurCycle is operated by Verana Ventures Ltd (“OurCycle,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at elainesalvador@gmail.com or via our support page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use OurCycle. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. What OurCycle is - and isn't

OurCycle is a calm, private companion app for couples. The person with the cycle tracks how she feels. Her partner sees plain-language guidance on how she may be feeling and how to show up that day.

OurCycle is not a medical app, contraception tool, or fertility-planning tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For medical questions, talk to a qualified healthcare provider. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the app.

4. Your account and partner connection

You're responsible for the information you put in OurCycle and for keeping your device secure. The person with the cycle controls what their partner sees - they can hide a phase, pause sharing, or disconnect at any time. We don't mediate disputes between connected partners.

5. Privacy

Cycle data is intimate. We treat it accordingly. Our Privacy page explains exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

6. OurCycle Plus subscriptions

Some features are part of OurCycle Plus, an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store. The following terms apply to all Plus subscriptions:

  • Plans and pricing.Plus is available as an Annual plan (£29.99 / year), a 6-month plan (£11.95 / 6 months), or a Monthly plan (£2.99 / month). Prices may vary by region. The price displayed at the time of purchase is what you'll pay.
  • Free trial.New subscribers may be offered a one-month free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
  • Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Renewal billing. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the cost of the chosen plan.
  • Managing your subscription. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple Account settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Cancellation.You can cancel at any time through the same Apple Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you'll keep Plus access until then.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy. We can't issue refunds directly.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use OurCycle for any unlawful purpose.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Use the app to harass, coerce, or surveil another person. OurCycle is for two people who both consent to sharing.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or any data within it.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the app or its underlying infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been broken.

8. Intellectual property

The OurCycle brand, logo, app, copy, illustrations, and designs are owned by Verana Ventures Ltd. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Everything else is reserved.

The cycle data you put into the app belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over your data.

9. Medical disclaimer

OurCycle provides general information and relationship cues only. It is not medical advice. We make no guarantees about accuracy of cycle predictions or any related insights. Don't use OurCycle to make medical, contraception, or fertility decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for those.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OurCycle is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of - or inability to use - the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using OurCycle and delete your data at any time from the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been broken, or if we're required to do so by law. On termination, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy page.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
